On November 28, the launch of the guide The Power of Collective Leadership took place at Universidad de los Andes, bringing together organizations, leaders, and stakeholders committed to transforming their communities and territories.
More than a presentation, the event was an open and participatory conversation about what it means to build collective leadership in practice.
Through dialogue, participants shared experiences, questions, and lessons learned about how to advance processes where decisions and shared purposes are built collaboratively.
During the event, representatives from Fundación Corona, Origen Leadership Network, the School of Government at Universidad de los Andes, GOYN Bogotá, and the Consortium for Community Development presented key learnings from the Collective Leadership Learning Community, an initiative that has been working since 2023 to develop new approaches to shared leadership.

Reflecting on the Foundations of Collective Leadership
The gathering provided an opportunity to reflect on key themes such as trust, shared responsibility, and the challenges of sustaining collective processes across different territories. In this context, the guide was introduced not only as a publication, but also as a practical tool designed to support and strengthen these processes in action.
The participatory format of the event enabled attendees to:
Exchange perspectives on the current challenges of leadership in Colombia
Recognize real experiences of collective work within organizations and territories
Explore the conditions needed to sustain collaborative processes over time
Reflect on the role of trust, shared responsibility, and collective decision-making
This dynamic ensured that the guide was presented not simply as a final product, but as a living resource—one that gains meaning through appropriation, reflection, questioning, and application by those working in the field.

Building Leadership Together
The event reinforced a central idea: collective leadership cannot be imposed—it is built through conversations, relationships, and shared decisions.
