How can we help more young people in Bogotá successfully transition from education to employment?
This was the question that brought together Atenea, GOYN Bogotá, and Fundación Corona for a meeting that concluded with the signing of a partnership to strengthen the educational and career pathways of young people across the city.
The agreement marks another step toward creating more relevant opportunities for youth by strengthening collaboration between organizations that develop talent and those that generate opportunities for professional growth and employment.
A Challenge That Requires Collective Action
During the event, participants emphasized that building successful pathways for young people requires much more than expanding access to education. It also means gaining a deeper understanding of the needs of productive sectors, strengthening the capacities of the broader ecosystem, and creating stronger connections between education and the world of work.
Speakers also reaffirmed that the challenges surrounding education and employment cannot be addressed by a single institution. Collaboration among the public sector, private sector, academia, and civil society organizations remains essential to advancing more effective and sustainable solutions.

A Shared Commitment to Expanding Opportunities for Young People
This partnership seeks to contribute to the development of a city where more young people can access relevant education, build in-demand skills, and pursue life projects that are aligned with the opportunities of today's and tomorrow's labor market.
Bogotá is home to a generation of young people with enormous potential. This agreement represents an opportunity to continue strengthening lifelong learning, improving connections between talent and employment, and building an ecosystem of opportunities that responds to the city's evolving needs and challenges.
The event concluded with a clear message: expanding opportunities for young people requires listening, learning, and acting together. Collaboration will continue to be a key driver in opening more pathways to education, employment, and the holistic development of future generations.
GOYN Bogotá is part of this effort, bringing together stakeholders from across sectors to expand opportunities for Young People with Potential and promote sustainable, city-led solutions.
