This second installment took the pulse of citizens during November 2020. The survey collects information on subjective well-being in order to make visible citizens' perceptions about the quality of life during the pandemic and provide input for decision-making at the territorial level during the COVID-19 situation.

#MyVoiceMyCity is a complement to the traditional Citizen Perception Survey of the Cómo Vamos programs, which uses digital tools and social media as innovative mechanisms for measuring and analyzing citizen information, relying on a rigorous methodology for both data collection and analysis. This time, the survey expanded its coverage to 36 municipalities grouped into 19 Cómo Vamos programs, where more than 30,000 citizens responded. The survey includes breakdowns by age group, socioeconomic level, gender, and geographic area within the different cities and municipalities.

The municipalities that participated in this measurement of the Virtual Survey were Armenia, Barbosa, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Bucaramanga, Buenaventura, Cajicá, Cali, Cartagena, Chía, Cogua, Cota, Cúcuta, Floridablanca, Gachancipá, Girón, Jamundí, Manizales, Medellín, Montería, Nemocón, Pereira, Piedecuesta, Puerto Colombia, Quibdó, Santa Marta, Socorro, Soledad, Sopó, Tabio, Tenjo, Tocancipá, Tuluá, Vélez, and Zipaquirá; which participated in the first phase and to which Ibagué and Yumbo are added for this second phase.

For this second phase, topics already presented in the first phase, such as employment, health, education, security, and public administration, among others, were analyzed and complemented with themes relevant to the quality of life in cities, more than six months after the start of lockdown measures in our country. These new topics include urban environmental quality, culture, economic reactivation, and self-perception of citizen behavior. “The incorporation of these new topics into the survey allows for a broader and more holistic view of aspects related to citizens' quality of life, and highlights issues that are highly relevant in cities right now, as well as identifying the challenges and opportunities related to the measures being taken by mayors,” says Mónica Villegas, Manager of Education for Citizen Participation at the Corona Foundation.
