Widening Gaps in Saber 11 Exams Due to the Pandemic: Impacts on Results During COVID‑19 in Bogotá
The direct and indirect impacts of these measures on the quality of education and on young people in the city will become apparent in the medium and long term. Hence the need and importance of constantly monitoring and evaluating the effects of the pandemic on the education system in order to adapt and implement measures that mitigate these effects in the long term. This bulletin aims to contribute to the analysis of the impacts on the results of the Saber 11 standardized tests in 2020 and to provide input to strengthen discussions surrounding the return to school for children and young people in Bogotá, with a special focus on those currently in secondary education.
