Currently, young people, their needs, and opportunities are at the heart of the conversation. Although one in four people in the country is young, there is little information, data, and analysis specifically tailored to this population. Since 2011, youth mobilizations have emerged, expressing their interest in bringing about changes in the education system. The pandemic highlighted the vulnerabilities of young people and exacerbated the deficiencies caused by multidimensional impacts on education, employment, health, access to public services, and social interaction, among other areas.

In this publication, "Nothing about young people without young people: An overview of youth in Colombia," we want to present a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the youth landscape in the country, the different legal and reference frameworks for youth, and recommendations for building development agendas with and for Colombian youth.
