Opportunity Youth: The Outlook for Young People Who Are Not Studying, Not Working, or Working Informally in Bogotá

The difficult situation faced by many young people in Bogotá limits the opportunities they have to develop their life paths and achieve optimal levels of well-being. Recognizing the potential and talent of young people and their important role in the city's growth and development, this report presents an overview, from their school years to their employability, with a special emphasis on the barriers and limitations they encounter. This is based on the inclusive employment model developed by Fundación Corona, Fundación ANDI, and ACDI/VOCA. The aim is to raise awareness of this situation and encourage collective, evidence-based action within the broad ecosystem of public and private initiatives, entities, and projects that seek to improve the well-being of young people in Bogotá.
