The Colombian Network of Cities How We Are Doing (RCCV), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the National Planning Department (DNP) decided to join forces in order to strengthen and consolidate the territorial strategy for the implementation of the SDGs.

This effort materialized in the creation of a guide for preparing Voluntary Local Reports (VLRs) in Colombia. This guide presents a methodological proposal for the preparation of Voluntary Local Reports (VLRs) in Colombia, which are tools for local governments to review their integration with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to articulate intersectoral actions and initiatives that promote the institutional strengthening of territories, for decision-making aimed at achieving the 2030 Agenda.
