"Social Progress Index Colombian Cities 2018. 4th version"

With the aim of responding to the challenge of measuring social progress and better identifying the needs of countries and communities, in 2010 a group of world leaders created the Social Progress Imperative (SPI).

Under the technical leadership of Michael Porter of Harvard University and Scott Stern of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the first version of the IPS was launched in 2013 with 50 countries.

The IPS is currently promoted by organizations such as the Sköll Foundation, the Avina Foundation, and Deloitte worldwide.
