University Cities Como Vamos Index
The How Are We Doing Index for University Cities (ICU) is an initiative of the Lúker Foundation and the How Are We Doing Cities Network. It offers a comprehensive view of the "university city" concept, combining the measurement of different dimensions to evaluate the well-being of university students and the quality of services and goods the city offers them. The five dimensions of analysis are: quality of higher education, the university environment, cost of living, quality of life in the city, and graduate employability.
This third edition of the ICU builds upon its first two versions, the first published in 2017 and the second in 2019, and expands its scope to the 14 capital cities that are part of the Cómo Vamos Network. These cities are: Armenia, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Bucaramanga, Cali, Cartagena, Cúcuta, Pereira, Manizales, Medellín, Ibagué, Montería, Quibdó, and Santa Marta.
